Complete asphalt overlays are recommended when the entire surface area is starting to deteriorate.   Asphalt topping  (typically 1 – 1 ½ inches) is installed over the entire lot.  If heavy alligatoring is evident a layer of surface treatment asphalt can be installed before the topping.
